Give Yourself Love This Christmas

Having great qualities to help others does not mean you will be able to help yourself. For years helping families deal with the decline of their loved ones has been a job that I have found great rewards in doing. Coaching and counseling to help them in making the right decisions.

When it came to my own family member, I was unable to control my emotion. I continuously try to find answers help them. When there was none to find it only continued control me. We all must come to a point that we can say we have to let it go for everyone we have to take care of ourselves and forget what we cannot change, or it can destroy our mental and physical health. It took a long time for me to realize giving up is not always a bad thing when we are giving up helping ourselves.

If there is one thing, we can all do this Christmas is to realize to let go of our own mistakes and forgive others. The anger for everything that has happened during these last few years of unprecedented times. With illness, the unexpected destructions, the loss, and pain everyone is broken and doing their best. It is only to be expected because we are human, and we all have made mistakes. We need to realize everyone has broken routines and everyone is searching and struggling to just keep going.

This Christmas I give myself love by letting go of the anger of not knowing and not being able to fix everything broken. It is something I pray for everyone in our community, state, and country is to love by forgiving.
