Our Mission
Our Mission at Embracing the Aged

To all my followers of Embracing the Aged. I wanted you to know how I have enjoyed these past few months of this business. Starting a new business is never easy, my husband and I have had 2 businesses’ before and I know how much time and hard work goes into making it a success.
Embracing the Aged is not just a business, I feel that I do make a difference in peoples lives, sometimes it is just little and some might not think it is important, other times it is a major problem. I have been in touch with so many interesting people, people who have desperate needs with a family member and do not know where to turn. I wanted to tell you of one experience I encountered.
One of my good friends from a local Assisted Living called me, said she had encountered an elderly lady 96yrs. old that had stopped by her place and needed an apt. for herself as soon as possible. She didn’t need an assisted living, only wanted her own place. So, I was contacted, I called the lady she told me her situation, she needed her own apartment her husband was sick and his family was going to take care of him and she would have to find a place to live. This lady knew which apartments she wanted to move to but had no idea how to find out about the cost and what it would take to make this happen. I took her information, contacted the apartments, found out the cost and they told me she could move in no problem, I called her gave her the information and hung up. I contacted her in 2 weeks and she was so excited, she told me “I am sitting in my new apartment because of you and I love it”. I have talked with her several times since, sent her my card and she said,” Angel I have your card on
my refrigerator and I will call you again”. I told her I wanted to come and visit, she told me I better wait, she wanted it to be completely done before I came. I am waiting! This is what Embracing the Aged is about, I want to help with little things and big problems if they arise. This is only one of several special stories I have to tell, I will keep you wanting to hear more. My goal is to be a blessing and a help to any that call.
